As e-scooter tragedy continues to happen on our roads, the Australian Medical Association has renewed their concerns over the safety of e-scooters.

AMA WA President Michael Page told Jamie Burnett on Weekends that trauma surgeons at Royal Perth Hospital are treating about one patient a day with bad e-scooter injuries.

Mr Page says the issues are often around not helmet wearing, riding when intoxicated or drug affected, riding at night, or when unfamiliar with them.
