Friday football is set to create traffic problems on Perth streets as the bounce down at Freo’s game clashes with peak hour.

Transperth has issued a warning that no event buses or direct trains will operate to the stadium.

State Opposition Leader Basil Zempilas discussed this frustrating situation with 6PR Breakfast hosts Karl and Ian, remarking that it’s far from ideal, particularly given the significant investment in Perth’s public transport system.

“We have to improve that situation and make it more accessible for these bigger games for more people,” he said.
