Toxic B6 levels: Experts issue caution on supplement risks
Following hundreds of reports of serious health issues from the toxic build-up of B6, the TGA has released new guidelines.

Dietician and Nutritionist Jemma O’Hanlon, speaking on Perth Today with Chrissy Morrissy, noted that B6 plays a vital role in our bodies, but an issue arises when people take too much.
“It’s found in energy drinks, it’s found in obviously your supplements, probably the main source that people are taking, it’s found in protein powders; even low salt Vegemite has some B6 in it,” she said
