The Town of Cambridge Mayor is calling for a “hybrid” voting model in the upcoming council election.

The new model will mean people can choose to vote either via a postal ballot or in person.

Town of Cambridge Mayor Keri Shannon told Jo McManus on 6PR Afternoons the new model will hopefully encourage more people to vote.

“This is about increasing choices,” said the Mayor.
