A Sydney man has made an impassioned plea on Instagram after being attacked in Leederville by strangers early on Sunday morning.

Spencer Goggin (above) was in Perth to celebrate his friend’s birthday but was bashed about 3am on Sunday in an unprovoked attack near the skate park outside the Hip-E Club.

He told Gareth Parker on 6PR Breakfast he was now back in Sydney but had yet to hear from police after filing a complaint, following extensive treatment for facial injuries at Fiona Stanley Hospital on Sunday.

“These people are still out there, I know the police are extremely busy but as of yet no one has contacted me,” he said.

“I just wanted to get the ball rolling on some evidence or if someone might have access to the CCTV or know the owner of the building around that area.

“I escaped with my life this time around… to feel grateful coming home alive after a night out is an experience I don’t want anyone else to go through.”
