Tourette’s Australia national education advisor Connor Macey told 6PR Long Lunch host Tod Johnston that the spectrum of neurological twitches is hugely varied, but that it is essentially the brain miscommunicating and sending the message to the wrong destination.
“It might be as simple as an eye twitch, or a sniff, or a grunt, or for some people it can be entire sentences”, Macey said.
