For the first time ever, soccer clubs in Western Australia will have a new policy to combat bad behaviour on and off the pitch.

This comes after increasing reports of violence and abuse towards referees at local games.

Sorrento FC President Nico Hoyle told Jo McManus on 6PR Afternoons the changes are needed.

“It’s a cultural change within the local sport,” said Mr Hoyle.
