In his final interview with 6PR Breakfast host Gareth Parker, WA Police Commissioner Col Blanch says nothing in  his career will compare with the phone call that confirmed little Cleo Smith had been found safe.

“I don’t think anything will compare to that, it did actually unite our community… it brought the global community together,” he told Parker.

“That day will forever be burned into my memory, and I know so many others. It was good to share what we were doing as a police force with the community.”
