Top cop ‘frustrated’ by brazen acts of crime

Western Australia Police Commissioner Col Blanch says he’s extremely frustrated by brazen acts of crime carried out by young people.

Speaking to Simon Beaumont on 6PR Perth Today Mr Blanch says despite the crime level remaining low, the recidivism rate is high, with police aware of several repeat offenders.
“This comes down to, if young people are doing this, where are the parents, where is the community? And the police will always follow up these investigations with arrests if we have the evidence,” he said.
