The sad passing of Tina Turner has lead to her songs racing up the charts.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford told Millsy and Mick on 6PR Breakfast many of her songs have been given new life but since she didn’t write them, there are many other big winners.

“There’ll be a lot of songwriters today who will be very excited at the fact there’s a lot of healthy cheques coming their way,” Mr Ford said.
