Australians are obsessed with SUV’s and huge utes but experts say they are making our roads deadlier and are a bad idea for urban roads.

WA Centre for Road Safety Research at UWA deputy director Professor Paul Roberts spoke to 6PR Radio Perth Live presenter Oliver Peterson and said a recent US study found if a child was killed from a vehicle, it was eight times more likely the vehicle had a tall bonnet height.
