New research shows over one-in-three renters are too afraid to raise maintenance issues with their landlords due to fear of eviction.

Circle Green Community Legal Group tenancy lawyer Alice Pennycott told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live mould, collapsing ceilings and rats are some of the things people are too scared to report.

“They’re keeping quiet,” said Ms Pennycott.

“It’s all tenants that have that insecurity.”
