Speaking to 6PR Drive host Jamie Burnett, Deputy Premier Rita Saffioti expressed confidence that the Prime Minister and Federal Treasurer will honour their promise to keep WA’s GST intact, despite a loud protest from the Eastern States.

“We need to continue to support the WA economy because it plays such a big role in the national economy,” she said, though she conceded the GST formula itself is highly flawed.
