There are currently 26,000 unfilled truck driver positions across Australia threatening the nation’s supply chain and the situation is projected to get worse over the next 12 months.

National Road Transport Association CEO Warren Clark spoke to 6PR Radio’s Perth Live presenter Oliver Peterson and said there were not enough people coming into the industry and filling jobs with the average age of a driver at 49 years of age.
