New details have emerged in the fatal shooting on a film set involving Alec Baldwin.

Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was shot dead on the set of ‘Rust’ in New Mexico by Baldwin after he was handed a prop gun with live ammo.

Over the last three days local law enforcement have been tight-lipped but details have begun to emerge of the assistant director that handed Baldwin the prop.

Reporter for the Los Angeles Times Meg James told Liam Bartlett she was the daughter of a prominent Hollywood figure, and only had one major credit to her name.

“What the reporting is suggesting talking to people who have worked on the crew is that there were a lot of corners cut,” she said.

“And people are wondering why this young woman was hired, rather than a more experienced armourer.”
