Glenn A Baker has shared some incredible stories about the late, great Olivia Newton-John with Jane Marwick on 6PR Mornings.
The Australian music historian revealed the impact she had on everyone she met, from famed Hollywood stars and music celebrities, to politicians and everyday people.
“A gorgeous woman and fabulous singer… and pretty good bloody actor too!” he told Marwick, in the chair for Liam Bartlett today.
Baker also revealed some inside info on why she wore athletic gear in one of her biggest hits, Physical.

Physical hit No. 1 in many countries including Australia and became a cultural phenomenon that notched a record 10 straight weeks atop the American charts, making it the decade’s most successful song. Sales were north of 10 million copies.
The video clip preceded MTV by two years, and earnt Newton-John the first ever Grammy for a music video, in 1983.
