Architect and current City of Perth Councillor Sandy Anghie has announced her candidacy for Perth Lord Mayor.

It’s the second time the practising architect will run for the Lord Mayor’s chain, and will centre her candidacy on creating a “city of neighbourhoods”, aimed at breathing activity into Perth.

Ms Anghie told Julie-anne Sprague on 6PR Afternoons she wants to develop Perth into a “24 hour city”.

Focusing on making Perth a great place to live, work and visit 24 hours a days a week,” Ms Anghie said.
