The plan to legalise cannabis in WA

The Legalise Cannabis WA Party has put forward a Bill to legalise pot in Western Australia.
Key components include legal possession of 50 grams of cannabis, and households allowed to grow four plants.
Legalise Cannabis WA member for East Metro Region, Dr Brian Walker, said it was time for a proper discussion in the community, in the knowledge it was unlikely to make it out of the parliament as a bill.
“Yes it’s unlikely but it’s certainly bringing it front and centre, and it’s really important we speak about this because we need truth in politics and being sold a lie is not acceptable,” he said.
