The State Government has approved a new program which will allow people to swim with sea lions along Western Australia’s idyllic coast.

Environment Minister Reece Whitby told Perth Live the sea lions are very inquisitive.

“Safety always has to come first… we leave it up to the animal to decide whether they get closure for another look,” said Mr Whitby

“What Western Australia offers is unique… these are special experiences… people will come here to have an experience that you cannot have anywhere else in the world.”
