Dr Kate Leeming OAM is “breaking the cycle” across Australia to help educate people on the history of Australia’s Indigenous culture.

After having to sadly quit the journey in 2021 after breaking her collarbone at the 1500km mark, she’s returning to the site of the accident in the Strzelecki Desert to resume the journey with about 6000km to go.

Dr Leeming told Jo McManus on 6PR Afternoons the expedition will take 12 to 13 weeks to complete.
