A new study has shown that teenage gambling could be significantly influenced by parental behaviour.

Senior lecturer in psychology Dr Cassie Dittman told 6PR Mornings host Simon Beaumont that the landscape around parenting and the level of exposure teenagers face have changed.

“These days gambling advertising and the accessibility of gambling online means that young people, so teenagers, but also younger children, are exposed to gambling in a way that generations have never experienced before”, she said.
