After several weeks of battling between different Perth suburbs, including Cottesloe, Guildford, Joondalup, Burswood, and many more the final two came down to Victoria Park vs Kalamunda.

They ran an extremely tight race, but Victoria Park came out victorious in the end.

Margaret Thomas, City of Kalamunda mayor, graciously accepted the defeat

“All I can say is you must be amazing Victoria Park to beat us. Congratulations on a well-deserved win,” she told Steve Mills.

“But people still come and see Kalamunda we have some great things to show you.”

Karen Vernon Town Victoria Park mayor said that the win was never in doubt.

“The good people of Victoria Park proved their loyalty to the suburb they love,” she said.

“Our community loves the hospitality offerings that we have. It’s pretty synonymous with Victoria Park throughout the wider metropolitan area.”
