The Economic Regulation Authority has issued government-owned utility Synergy with a compliance enforcement notice for failing to notify Synergy customers of overcharging on their closed accounts

Economic Regulation Authority Chair Steve Edwell spoke to 6PR Radio Perth Live presenter Oliver Peterson that some of these accounts had a credit of balance in the order of $500 which was a sizable sum for people on welfare.
