The soaring cost of junior sports is placing immense pressure on family budgets, leading some families to regrettably withdraw their children.

Amanda Derbyshire, Programme Director of KIDDO, told Perth Today host Simon Beaumont that this financial burden serves as yet another hurdle preventing children from participating in sports. 

“We want them to go on and play sport and have all those benefits of being part of community clubs,” she said.
