A new report has revealed confusion over the lane splitting manoeuvre by motorcyclists, with road users unsure if it’s legal, and police struggling to enforce the rules.

Safety officer at Motorcycle Riders Association of Western Australia, Simon Waters, says the rules were introduced to prevent accidents.

“That don’t really exist,” he told Millsy and Karl.
