The Australian outback bobsledder selected to compete in the 2022 Winter Olympics

An outback bobsledder raised in the town of Leonora, Kiara Reddingius, has been selected to compete in the bobsleigh at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics
With the title of the first Olympian from Leonora, Kiara’s bobsled gets to 100km/h.
Speaking to Steve Mills on Millsy at Midday, Kiara said that being a heptathlete has helped her become a bobsledder.
“The combination of the speed from sprinting (and) you also have a bit more power than traditional sprinters,” she said.
“In bobsleigh, it’s not about if you crash. It’s about when. It’s just very common in the sport.”
