Jamie Burnett

A Greens senator is calling for cannabis to be legalised, claiming it would give Australia’s economy a massive boost.

New South Wales Greens senator David Shoebridge says Parliamentary Budget Office costings suggest legalising cannabis would generate a minimum of $28 billion for the economy.

Mr Shoebridge told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live legalising cannabis would have many benefits.
