Following a freak basketball incident, 10-year-old Terry Vo was rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital. He underwent world-first surgery to reattach his hands, though sadly, doctors also had to amputate his left leg.

Twenty-one years later, Terry is a father of two and spoke to 6PR Mornings host Simon Beaumont about his resilience and achievements since that fateful day. 

“It’s funny because I don’t actually have any trauma from the accident,” he said.
