Shocking scenes unfolded near a Bayswater hotel, where a young father was allegedly threatened by a crazed, armed man.

Police are investigating whether the alleged perpetrator later struck and killed a pedestrian with his vehicle.

Esmat Raz, the young father who filmed the attack while being threatened with a large knife, has since spoken to 6PR’s Gary Adshead.

“I tried to protect myself. He was out of control,” he said.
