A man has been charged following a reckless police pursuit through Perth’s south-western suburbs over the weekend.

Allie from Scarborough found herself directly in the path of the stolen vehicle and recounted her terrifying escape to Perth Today host Simon Beaumont, detailing the moment she closely avoided being struck by the out-of-control 4WD.

“I just floored my accelerator and just had to drive up the embankment and just crashed through all the bollards just to get the hell out of his way,” she said.
