Caroline Knight, City of Mandurah Mayor, explained to Perth Today host Simon Beaumont that the Lake Clifton giant, Jyttes Hytte, has had her legs removed and treated by the Men’s Shed.

She acknowledges that the Giants have a limited lifespan.

“They will decay, and so we will obviously do maintenance to keep them going as long as we can, but when they get to a point where they’re no longer structurally sound, we will have to remove them,” she said.
