Ben Groundwater, writer for Traveller.com.au told Jo McManus on 6PR Afternoons that when it comes to travel, 2023 is not so much about what you want to do, but what you want to avoid.

“For example, one of those is checking luggage. I went overseas the last couple of months and it’s the first time I only took carry on and it was a game changer,” Mr Groundwater said.

Avoiding flying where possible, ignoring Covid-19 and ignoring Australia are some of Ben’s other tips for travel in 2023.
