Tech expert slams Optus’ ‘poor’ communication during hacking scandal

A tech expert has expressed his disappointment at Optus’ lack of communication after personal information of thousands of customers were released.
Tech expert at EFTM.com, Trevor Long, believes Optus are ignoring customers as thousands look to update and change over personal details to protect themselves from Optus hackers.
“Their communication is poor and their communication is not comprehensive,” Mr Long told 6PR Breakfast.
“Optus is really lacking in customer care.”
“What they need to be is truly open and very transparent.”
Mr Long advised customers to go back to their emails to see if identification such as passports and licenses have been leaked, as they are the customers that need to worry the most.
