Tales of fortuitous fortunes roll on for Kalgoorlie syndicate

A gold rush feeling is in the air on the streets of Kalgoorlie today, as 250 locals and their families celebrate sharing the spoils of Thursday’s record $127 million Powerball jackpot.
Millsy at Midday host and former Kalgoorlie local Steve Mills reckons he knows dozens of the 250 people from the Goldfields town, who won a share of $63 million in last night’s draw.
Syndicate member and HelloWorld Travel Kalgoorlie owner Deborah Botica told Millsy on Friday she was just coming to terms with winning $250,000, when she realised she had won it twice.
