Supply issues affecting vaccine stock at pharmacies

WA’s Pharmacy Guild are blaming supply issues for a lack of COVID-19 vaccines at their stores.
It comes as children aged 5-11 become eligible for a low-dose pfizer jab at a state run clinic or a participating pharmacy.
But Andrew Ngeow from the Pharmacy Guild of WA has told 6PR Mornings some pharmacies are out of stock.
“These supplies are just kicking in now,” he said.
“So some pharmacies have got them, some pharmacies don’t.
“Our biggest problem at the moment is actually the supply, there’s a cap of 100 per pharmacy and based on the difficulty doing kids not all pharmacies are partcipating.”
