Sue McDougall’s Successful Vegie Garden Workshop
Sue McDougall invites you to share the Edible Garden Journey, by attending an informative garden workshop in her own vegie garden… and at the same time raising funds for Youth Focus.
It was her friend Peter Burgess and his commitment to Youth Focus that inspired her to rull her sleeves up and do what she could to create community awareness of the organisation. Peter is riding 7000kms in preparation for The Hawaiian Ride for Youth on 24-28th March, 2015.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn all there is to know about growing your own produce, in Sue’s own extensive fruit and vegie garden. This workshop is suitable for beginners, to experienced gardeners… from balcony enthusiasts to self-suffieiency eperts. There is something for everyone.
Sue has shared her gardening knowledge with 6PR listeners for nearly 20 years, she writes for national gardening publications, websites and presents gardening stories for Channel 7 Today Tonight. She loves inspiring people to give it a go, and start growing their own food.
Spend 2 hours learning the secrets of soil improving, plant selection, pest control, composting, watering and much more. Take home a goodie bag filled with treasures and successful vegetable garden notes to get you started.
