State of sadness: Australians have never been as unhappy

Not to depress you, but a recent survey has informed us that we’re about as unhappy as we’ve been since records began.
The Australian Unity Index survey has been tallied every year since 2001, using a geographically-representative sample of 2000 Australians to try and pinpoint the keys to life satisfaction.
Deakin University’s School of Psychology is behind the survey, and researcher Doctor Kate Lycett told Gary Adshead onĀ 6PR Mornings this year’s study paints a dire picture.
“We found that people aged between 18 and 25 had the worst wellbeing,” Dr Lycett said.
