Applications for the State government’s Zero Emissions Vehicle rebate scheme, which is giving WA drivers who purchase an eligible vehicle the opportunity to receive a $3500 rebate, will close at midnight on May 10.

Motor Trades Association CEO Steve Moir spoke to 6PR Radio Perth Live presenter Oliver Peterson and said he wasn’t a fan of the idea of subsidies for eligible car owners but he believed the State government’s intention was “genuine” as it wanted to get more people in EV’s quicker.
