The State Government has officially abandoned the $1.6 billion refurbishment of the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.

In response, Bradley Woods, of AHA WA, told Perth Today host Simon Beaumont that the city requires an improved facility to successfully compete for national and international business.

Woods commented, “The last thing we want to is just being an exhibition space for local domestic activity.”
