Start afresh for Derby tickets

Article image for Start afresh for Derby tickets

40,000 footy fans snapped up tickets to the Western Derby last week but a delay in the relaxing of State COVID restrictions means only 30,000 can enter Optus Stadium to watch West Coast and Fremantle go head to head.

Thousands of refunds will be handed back to some unlucky fans with the ticketing process to start again on Wednesday.

“We’ll look to give our Platinum pledges first opportunity from 9am on Wednesday, were they’ll be able to register for tickets then those who were Silver pledges who were good enough to help us out through that time as well will get an opportunity,” Fremantle CEO Simon Garlick told 6PR Breakfast.

Tickets to Thursday night’s clash between Collingwood and Geelong are on sale from 9am Tuesday.
