Stan Grant has fired back at The Australian for an accusatory article, and the ABC for their lack of defense of him following an alleged bullying incident in their headquarters.

In LinkedIn post, Grant wrote that he had,  “been the subject of a smear campaign by media. I have also seen my former employer the ABC fail again to defend me”.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast Grant has been pretty open about racist connotations to accusations against him.

“Stan has copped more than his fair share of negativity and abuse, and I’m sure some of it has been race-based but with regards to this story, I don’t really see how it enters into it,” Mr Ford said.
