Donald Trump, who in 2017 claimed he would send people to the moon, is now aiming to build a nuclear reactor there by 2030.

However, Astrophysicist Brad Tucker questions the feasibility of this timeline. Speaking to 6PR Breakfast, he noted that reduced budgets for Congress and NASA present a significant hurdle.

“2030 for a nuclear reactor on the moon, even though it would be much smaller and quite compact, it’s a big task,” he said.
