South West newspapers set to cease publication
The state’s South West is facing a major blow with four regional community newspapers set to no longer be printed.
The regional papers will stop publication by the end of April unless the company is bought out.
Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance regional director Tiffany Venning told 6PR Afternoons it is really sad.
“They’re crucial… for the community they serve,” said Ms Venning.
“The number of voices and differing opinions… they’re slowly being eroded away.”
