Ben Foo-Collyer, whose mother died in a shark attack in 2016, says more needs to be done to protect ocean swimmers.

Doreen Collyer was killed by a Great White Shark while scuba diving in Mindarie.

“We’ve got mitigation measures for everything else,” Mr Foo-Collyer said on 6PR Mornings.

“The government will put in place measures to protect people as best they can, but you get in the water and you have nothing.”
