The future of cancer support service provider Solaris is at crossroads and will be determined at a board meeting tonight.

Solaris has supported about 25,000 people over the last 22 years but is now facing financial uncertainty.

Solaris Caner Care CEO Francis Lynch told Oliver Peterson on 6PR Perth Live they need community donations to continue providing support services.

Breast cancer survivor Emma Bourke told Oliver Peterson Solaris is an “essential service”.

“Solaris was life changing for me I just didn’t know what to hold onto and they helped me through my diagnosis and helped me get into contact with other support services I needed,” Ms Bourke said.

Donations can be made at: https://solariscancercare.org.au/letthestorycontinue/
