‘Softer’ approach at Banksia Hill

Corrective Services Commissioner James McMahon has responded to concerns from the Community and Public Sector Union about a ‘softer’ approach to managing detainees at Banksia Hill Juvenile Detention Centre.
Commissioner McMahon has told Gary Adshead they’re being more pro-active to understanding ‘where the child’s at’.
