A new report by the Curtin School of Population Health has revealed West Australians are spending more time on social media than they predict.

Curtin School of Population Health clinical psychologist Dr Patrick Clarke told 6PR Mornings host Gary Adshead social media is rewiring people’s brains.

“It is wiring us to not stay focused for long periods of time,” said Dr Clarke.

“We’re sort of training ourselves to be really distractable constantly.” He continued.
