Reports of snake sightings in Western Australia have skyrocketed, but there are key steps to keep yourself safe if you come across a slippery creature.
Director of Animal Ark David Manning told 6PR Afternoons the safest thing to do is to stay calm.
“When you don’t have the protection, you’re at risk,” said Mr Manning.
