Smoke alert issued for Perth

A smoke alert has been issued for the entire metropolitan area.
The smoke’s continuing to come from a combination of prescribed burns and fires on private property, and is expected to clear overnight.
Regional Manager for the Swan Region at the Department of Parks and Wildlife Benson Todd told Oliver Peterson he understands burn-offs can be an inconvenience.
