A childcare centre in Perth’s south will remain closed for the foreseeable future after it caught fire overnight.

The fire broke out at Playtime Early Learning on Davey Street in Mandurah  just after 6 o’clock last night.

6PR and 9 News Reporter Rachael Clifford told Lachy and Will on 6PR Breakfast it’s believed the blaze was sparked by an electrical fault, and about $250 thousand worth of damage has been caused.
